National Volunteer Week (NVW) is the largest celebration of volunteers and volunteerism in Australia, and provides an opportunity to highlight the role of volunteers in our communities and to say thank you to the more than 6.4 million Australians who volunteer

Volunteering SA&NT (VSA&NT) is the peak body for volunteering in SA and the NT. Our mission is to promote and celebrate volunteering and play a key leadership role in advancing volunteering by providing an extensive range of services, support and resources for some 600,000 volunteers and around 2,000 volunteer organisations. 

VSA&NT Membership is valued and acknowledged, as fees go towards the continual development of existing and new programs to assist you with your volunteering needs and the development of effective volunteer programs.

VSA&NT assists organisations to:

  • Successfully and professionally manage volunteers
  • Deliver best practice, best advice
  • To develop programs, staff policies and procedures in relation to volunteering through our consultancy service
  • Train volunteers and volunteer managers or coordinators
  • Utilise and join networks
  • Access publications to develop volunteering pathways.
