Inspirational Volunteers Short Film

The South Australian IYV+10 Partnership brought together an enthusiastic group of people who have worked together with a common objective: to strengthen the profile of volunteering and celebrate the valued commitment of volunteers.

This collaborative committee consisted of representatives from:

Volunteering SA&NT
The Adelaide City Council
The Office for Volunteers
The Local Government Volunteer Managers Forum and
The University of SA (SOCE Program)

The short video "Inspirational Volunteers - Adding Life to the City", showing various not-for-profit organisations and their volunteers in and around the Adelaide CBD was sponsored by the Adelaide City Council and Volunteering SA&NT and supported by the Local Government Volunteer Managers Forum.

We sincerely thank Cinehire for their wonderful contribution and professional expertise in the making of this video which will heighten visibility of volunteering and lead to an increase in the level and diversity of volunteering in South Australia.

We thank all volunteers featured in the video for their time and valued commitment to helping others in need.

The short film was launched on 7 December 2011 at a Lord Mayoral Reception.
